 Headed by its active President Mrs. Kathryn List, the union provides active support to 26 different sport sections.

With the initiative of many expatriates the section cricket  was founded in June 2005. The momentum created by the founder team of motivated cricketers finally lead to union of the AVL cricket club with Graz Cricket Club.

AVL-Graz Cricket Club today provides not only an opportunity for playing cricket to people who know it, but is contributing in developing the game at grass roots in Graz. Through its program of School Cricket, Graz will very soon see a youth team.

The founder head of AVL Cricket Club also heads the Austrian Cricket Association
